Yesterday I said our visit to Michigan's Adventure was going great right up until it ended short. Let me expand on that: it was going really great. It was chilly, somewhere in the 50s, but good weather for us to go in costume. bunny_hugger wore her Cerberus kigurumi and drew much attention from people delighted to see a Cerberus wandering around. We got the last ride of Michigan Adventure's season on Mad Mouse, and even in the back seat, with some kid in a deer costume riding in front. We almost didn't, at first; the ride operator turned us away saying they were going to cycle the ride empty because of the oncoming storm. Oh yeah, so one stray exchange from Michigan's Adventure on Sunday. bunny_hugger's dragon kigurumi had, as mentioned, gotten a lot of positive comments from other people at the park, attendees and staff. So our Michigan's Adventure trip, only the good parts since they far outnumbered the bad. First, the leaves. We discovered last year that the park is an autumn park. Labor Day, now, we did our more-or-less traditional visit to Michigan's Adventure for closing day. This is one more tradition mucked up by the ongoing pandemic, as they used to run Labor Day until just minutes past sunset giving us a few moments at the park in darkness.
